Art into embroidery
We’re all about stitching art and ideas — whether it’s a child’s wild creativity, a grown-up’s rebellious doodle, or one of our own quirky designs.
You send us your drawing or idea, and we turn it into embroidery — stitched onto custom, wearable apparel.

Want to see how it works? Here's a quick guide to the process:

1. Pick your item.
The product price includes one embroidery (up to 10×10 cm) — this covers both the digitizing of your drawing (creating the embroidery file) and the machine embroidery itself. If you’d like additional embroideries, simply add them under extra embroidery in the product options.
If you’d like one larger embroidery instead (up to 13×18 cm), choose large embroidery in the product options. For even bigger designs (up to 36x20 cm), just reach out to us directly.
Next, choose your base — hoodie, sweatshirt, t-shirt, hat etc. Pick the style, size, and colour that fits you.
Most items are made to order — some are in stock and ready to ship, others may take a little longer. Either way, everything you see is available to buy. The ready-to-ship collection will grow over time as Peppermint Days evolves. Thanks for being part of the journey!

Important information about pricing:
The prices shown in the online store are based primarily on children’s drawings, which are generally simpler and more playful in nature. If you’d like to have a more complex or detailed design embroidered, please get in touch with us so we can prepare a personalized quote. This way we can ensure that the work meets your expectations and is also achievable with the quality we stand for.
2. From drawing to embroidery.
After placing your order, email a clear photo of your drawing to hey@peppermintdays.com — don’t forget to include your order number in the subject line.
How does the process work?
Before machine embroidery can begin, the drawing must be manually digitized — turned into a file in embroidery software that the machine can read. This isn’t an automatic process: every line, shape, and colour needs to be assigned the right stitch type, density, and direction.
The simpler the drawing, the more easily and quickly it can be transformed into embroidery. Very complex details require more work and may sometimes be impossible to translate into stitches. If there’s a detail that’s especially important to you, please mention it in your email. Also, let us know if you have specific wishes about placement.
What will the embroidery look like?
-
A drawing with delicate lines or scribbles will become a light, airy embroidery.
-
A filled-in and colourful drawing will become a strong, dense embroidery.

3. Process.
Custom orders usually take about 2–3 weeks to complete, depending on design complexity, stock availability, and order volume. Most garments are ordered fresh after you place your order — thanks for supporting a growing creative studio.
Need it faster?
Sometimes we have in-stock gear ready — certain orders can be finished in about a week. Stock changes often, so feel free to reach out if you're in a hurry. Also, if you need something sooner, we can offer an iron-on embroidery patch of your child’s drawing.
Once it’s ready, your piece is on its way. Because each item is made just for you, returns are only accepted for defects. Every piece is crafted with care — built to last and to mean something :)

Although we often embroider children’s drawings or our own designs, our work doesn’t stop there. We can bring to life all sorts of creative ideas — whether it’s something sketched by you, a bold graphic, or a concept you’d like us to design from scratch.
The only thing to keep in mind is that more intricate or detailed embroidery takes extra time and care. These custom projects aren’t covered by the standard shop options, so if you have a bigger vision in mind, just get in touch.
If you already have a simple doodle, go ahead and place an order! If your idea is a little more complex — or if you'd like us to help design it — just email us at hey@peppermintdays.com. We’ll chat and figure out how we can stitch it.
